Leavers! My tribe! Ha. I left California and went roaming all over. When I lived on an island in Panama with other Leavers I experienced a world where the center of life is community/humanity. I somehow ended up in Australia, and when I started working a 9-5, I felt like I had been placed in chains. It's difficult to explain the feeling, but maybe you relate. Trying to assimilate into an unnatural society made me so depressed. It's such a struggle to work a purposeless job but it's difficult to find purposeful jobs. People in offices working only for a paycheck lose their soul and take the souls of those who still have one. Ok, that's dark, but it feels like that. Ha.
