It's wild to witness people defend the country so devoutly. The United States of America is like a religion or a god that Americans should worship and believe in no matter what.

You'd think we lived like royalty or at least had a few social benefits (affordable housing, health care, paid leave, etc.) as a reward for accepting lies, but no. We defend and believe in blatant nonsense for no rational reason.
