It's wild. The US is bombing Somalia, killing countless civilians, but it's justified! We're American and exceptional - God, democracy, and superiority bless our killings, so they're acceptable.

The US has meddled in Ukraine since the early 21st century, and no one wonders wtf we're doing there. Our politicians visited Ukraine, promoting the 2014 government takeover, and Kyiv renamed a street John McCain, but that's normal. Who doesn't want the US intervening in their political and economic affairs? I'm sure Americans would appreciate a foreign government holding rallies in their cities, advising them on what they want and how to vote.

A journalist visited Iraq and recorded the US military's attack on the country in 2004. The MSM would not televise the footage and blacklisted him. We mustn't witness the horrors we inflict on others! That would derail our belief that we're ethical and our wars are lollipops and butterflies.

The Pentagon's remarks on Russia's weakness and foolishness for not destroying Ukraine's infrastructure at the onset say everything. Perhaps, Russia intended to avoid mass casualties and end the invasion quickly, which mystifies our seek-and-destroy war department.
