It's wild. People believe the corporate media, the government, and approved experts are reliable fact sources. There is no need to scrutinize information to develop a rational judgment because unbiased, trusted, ethical institutions tell us their truth.

Israel says Hamas uses civilians as human shields, and that's a fact because Israel said so. The university protesters are antisemites because the corporate media and the president claim they are.

I feel like I'm going insane because the mainstream narrative wildly contradicts thousands of independent reports and visual evidence. People who solely rely on corporate news and don't think critically live in a wildly different world than those who use numerous sources.
