It's so incredibly sad, and I want to pull my hair out when people say ridiculous statements like it's human nature to conquer others. We couldn't co-exist in any form if that were true, and I want to ask these people if they'd kill their neighbor to steal their home.

Greed is an addiction, and we've got addicts with an enormous military and arsenal leading the country. They created a civilization that forces us to compete and sell our time to buy basic needs, and we're miserable, but we're an adaptive species.

The US can't maintain this horror, but I think things will worsen as it struggles to sustain power. Ugh.
