It's pretty crazy. I'm from California but I'm living in Australia and living overseas provides an entirely different view of the US. Things have been shit for a while, but holy moly, they've escalated quickly.

We forget history or don't learn it, so it's easy to reshape it, but capitalism (pro-business profits) is behind everything. The narrative socialism/leftism leads to fascism is mind-blowing when enormous inequalities from capitalism provoked uprisings and fascism in the 20th century.

Reading the US media and comparing it to Australia provides undeniable proof Americans endure extreme propaganda daily. It actually hurts my brain.

Also, US politics rule the world, so everyone is aware of the US, but most people don't know other countries' politics. Essentially, the US bullies the world, and foreign governments support, obey, or endure sanctions, coups, etc. Ha. There's a geopolitics lesson.
