It's difficult to determine the most depressing parts of his statement, but I've narrowed it down.

His belief the value of life is decided by income
He thinks people have any sort of control of the market and value
His detachment from society
Believing in the propaganda
Not realizing universal healthcare improves his quality of life, his family's, and millions of people's
Believing money is life's objective
And last but not least, he does not know how or what he really feels about anything because he obediently repeats what he's told

It's really just sad.
