It's been very hot here so I leave water out for the wildlife. I've got Betty the possum and one blackbird living in my yard. Betty had a baby last year named Boop, but the baby's moved out! Possums in Australia are adorable, but Betty and Boop ate all of my snap peas last year. I let it go, but this year, I'm protecting my tomatoes. Ha.

Venezuela and Iran made an alliance to exchange natural resources, and China backs countries sanctioned by the West. The US will experience some power shifts as its enemies align, and I worry another World War is on the way, but I'm hopeful the establishment of two global alliances balance dynamics. It's unlikely, but I'm hoping for the best outcome.
