It's a mad, mad, mad, mad, mad world. Just to see what Twitter is about (I've never bothered with it before), I started tweeting to politicians, and this spiraled into the weirdest world on earth. I'm not sure if I experienced Twitter culture or stumbled into a random dark hole.

Americans have become obsessed with Australia's lockdown policy. People who have never thought about the low-population island continent in their life, have been telling Australians they live in prison. At one point, I thought they were bots, and maybe they are, but if they aren't, wtf. It's like they're recruiting for a cult.

My guess is they need validation for their actions. I don't know, but this is why we need sociologists. Someone has got to study the behavior so we can understand and address it.
