I’m experiencing grief’s acceptance phase, and it’s painful, but reality won’t disappear. I wish I could make myself believe things will improve, but the hopeful expectation depresses me because I know they won’t. However, I’ll join the revolution if it ever eventuates. We might as well go out with some dignity.
