I'm a registered Independent, and Californian Democrat primary elections only allowed people who were registered Democrats to vote, but no one considers this as voter suppression.

It was a nightmare to vote for Sanders because we had to request a different ballot than the one offered, and most polling places didn't have them or know what to do.
