If you're still in the Bay Area and haven't checked out Hood Slam, you should!

You know the sound I'm talking about. It's so authentic it brings you to tears. I miss that sound. A few months ago, I wrote about the music industry. The corporate music industry always controlled mainstream music, but in 1992, technology found the underground, and capitalism went digital.

John, I don't want to sit in a circle singing Kombiah and sharing one spoon to eat homemade cultured, vegan yogurt, and I don't want to watch that shit.

Capitalism and socialism have variations and governments impact them. We want our government to invest in Social Security, education, health care, education, small businesses, aged care, infrastructure, and more public goods and services. We are the economy. Our unpaid and paid work makes the economy what it is, and our government must invest in us or the whole thing falls apart. We're the asset.

I know you're thinking, "silly girl. That costs money and we'll have to pay for it." Nope. We won't - leave that to the economists.
