I wouldn't be surprised if someone discovered Covid was a US lab leak, set free to kill the old, weak, and expensive Medicare expenditure. Perhaps, that's farfetched, and the US capitalized off Covid's demographic kill-rate instead. Either way, it did a great job of doing nothing to protect vulnerable Americans (the un-economically viable).

I mean, how many people in aged care facilities died of Covid?

The government should have thought this through a bit more and attempted to protect some of the elderly because it might have been a bad idea to kill the worker bees' free childcare.
