I think your question is rhetorical, but no. We don't have a democracy anymore. Keith's comment on my essay perfectly sums it up. I don't know about you, but I feel anger and sadness every time I think about it. The divisions within society make me so upset because we should be on the same side, but we're too confused to know wth is going on. At least, that's my take.

I really don't know if it will ever get better and only get worse. It's really depressing.
