I read your logical, independent thoughts, but the nationalism relentlessly smothered in our faces triggers thoughtless responses. The anti-enlightenment era prohibits critical thinking and developing thoughts independently.
Our intense individualist nation police and repress independent thinking, yet we trust liars, billionaires, and millionaires more than our income class. The people who profit from the war rely on public approval to maintain the billions spent on US weapon manufacturers and other gains, yet the average person questions the narrative, and we're Putin's pals.
Somehow, it's unbelievable that books, history lessons, critical thinking, etc., shaped our understanding of the world, and not the media. Yet, it's believable that Putin provides updates and public statements to Americans who spread propaganda on his behalf, but has anyone thought about the logistics?
The comments scream for war until no one is left to kill, yet supporting peace encourages Putin's genocide. The pro-war commenters don't care or realize a draft forces 18-60-year-old Ukrainians to kill or be killed, and thousands of people are dead. The death toll continues to rise yet governments won't communicate until enough people have died and we love the distraction from our dire reality and savior feel goods.
The world would be a mess without the US stepping in and saving it! Hmm, I wonder if Ukrainian soldiers would like to keep fighting or be with their families.
