I know. We're too far gone and destroyed too much, but it's nice to pretend. There's so much worse on the way, and I don't know how anyone can prepare themselves for the enormity of the catastrophes. I wish I was older so I wouldn't witness what we're going to endure, but here I am. Ugh.
