I know! There's not a common goal with strategies for getting there, and instead of working towards increasing the progressive base via understanding why low-income earners vote for a billionaire, they shut them out. There are roughly 90% of us excluded from the government's economic policies aimed at funding corporations in hopes they create jobs. Surely, there's a common purpose to unite behind in here somewhere, but if someone doesn't check every progressive box, they can't be included. It's like come on people. There's one massive issue impacting all of us, get everyone behind it and deal with differing moral ideals over a cup of coffee or whenever, but we need as many people as we can to demand we deserve to be the center of government policies.
I wrote a piece on it while staying up way too late in hopes of hearing the election outcome, but I think I expressed the importance to continue pushing our government because a Democrat president doesn't mean there will be significant change.
