I just had Covid, and so did the 30 or so people who went to the engagement party. I've never seen a flu that contagious. Everyone had to take a week off from work, and in less than 12 weeks, we can easily catch it again.

Our vaccines aren't good enough, and this is life now. Covid will be at every event, we will catch it, and we will lose a week of life. We're looking at 3 to 4 Covid infections a year, and I don't have enough paid sick days a year.

I still have crippling headaches, and I'm struggling to return to playing soccer. My depression is back to extremely bad, and I don't know if it's worth it to go out anymore. We have lives to live and things to do, but it's not going to be pleasant.
