I hear you and enjoy a rant. It's so frustrating. We snort synthetic glory, insisting the world wouldn't exist if the US didn't save it.

A decade after WWII, a French poll asked which country was essential in winning the war. The results showed 57% for the USSR and the US and the UK split the remaining percentages. When France polled the public again in the early 90s, the results decreased to 47% for the USSR and increased for the US.

The US influences the world's perspective and rewrites history, and anyone who contests the lie is a conspiracy-believing outcast. I don't know how we stay sane.

The Church Committee and countless reports exposed the FBI and CIA's meddling in the media and leftist organizations. Yet, Americans still trust the corporate news and believe the nation is a democracy. We ignore the history that hurts our ears or insist things have changed and everything is great.

I sympathized with the population who believed the propaganda until recently, but it's become so goddamn blatant that there's no excuse. People choose to believe in a myth because disbelieving it would force them to re-evaluate their identity and everything they know. That's too much thinking for a Zombie society.
