I fell in love with this response because this is what I have been screaming! I can't attach a graph to this post, but from 1979 until now, wealth gained from income earnings has not risen by more than 20% whilst the top .1% gained 350%, the 1% 150%, and the bottom 90% at roughly 20%.

And ya, the parties are pitting us against each other because we should be screaming our heads off at them. They facilitated the robbery of American wealth. People getting an education in hopes of getting a high-skilled job to only find low-skilled service jobs and a massive debt impossible to pay off would suffer the consequences of bankruptcy yet the banks would be bailed out. It's outrageous.
