I don't wonder.

Did you intentionally omit US intervention in Argentina and all of Latin America? What about the Monroe Doctrine, the Falkland Islands, Kissenger's free-market constitution in Chile, the United Fruit Company, and the US' countless coups in the region?

Las madres de Plaza de Mayo? Todavia, las madres y abuelas buscan a sus hijos. The US' dirty war in Argentina and most of Latin America caused the political and economic issues the countries endure today. Bolivia recently encountered US intervention in its election, and the IMF holds these countries hostage.

Latin American nations provide the US with essential natural resources, and the US will not let the nations nationalize their resources. Foreign intervention destroyed any chance of wealth. As Chile writes a new constitution and Peru's socialist president promises the redistribution of wealth, I fear the US will once again hinder their progress.

Argentina's gold reserves may have already been stolen by the US - it took Venezuela's gold and wealth.

We need the social with the science to call it economics.
