I don't think India is acting foolish. India needs affordable energy, Brazil needs inexpensive wheat, Venezuela needs to sell oil, and Nigeria is pissed off that US weapons meant for Ukraine have entered the country.

Governments need to provide for their citizens, and even Saudi Arabia is moving away from the US. What's wilder is India and China seem to have resolved their issues.

The world is rapidly changing, creating alliances and trade agreements that don't involve the US. We can make excuses and disregard these nations, but these events are happening.
