I don't see an end to the war, but I don't think Russia wants to fight forever. It isn't logical for them to continue the conflict, but logic doesn't exist any more anyway.
As the US bleeds Russia dry, it bleeds the world dry, and I suspect we'll see massive global uprisings. We know hunger leads to civil unrest, and I wonder how long Americans will endure outrageous food and gas prices, but US arrogance seems to trump reasoning.
I've wondered if Zelensky's demand (as well as some others) to remove Russia from the UN Security Council derived from the US. Ugh. I wish I could trust the US, but our government doesn't have the best track record - especially with foreign policy.
Oh, did you know Colombia is now a special partner with NATO? Last time I checked, Colombia didn't move to the North Atlantic and Venezuela isn't threatening. The humanitarian crisis from the sanctions that created the largest mass movement of people in South America floods Colombia, but NATO offers guns - not aid for the refugees.
