I believed this to be true as well, then I traveled to the Brazilian Amazon to learn a whole lot more. The uncontacted tribes and the colonized, would really like US, China, EU, etc. to get the F out of their neighborhood. Also, how safe were places prior to development? Like the whole of a country?
