I am Gen X, and my parents bought a home with one income in the 70s, but I didn't state there was equality or that life was easy. We're fighting the same fights.

My generation didn't have an MLK or anyone of the like. However, there are underground voices if you look, but there is no leader inspiring a movement.

The labor strikes in the 70s and neoliberal policies dismantled society, creating a disengaged population. Our parents and grandparents put up a fight, but they could not defeat the broken system, so we must develop new techniques, which requires militancy.

Unfortunately, we blame each other instead of blaming our government.
