I also have Palestinian friends in San Francisco, and refugees volunteer or use services at my workplace. They have never uttered a negative word about Israel, and we've had in-depth discussions, which I didn't realize until you mentioned it.

Anyone who doesn't perceive the bombing campaign killing people as horrific has dehumanized the population. Questions like where Israelis would live if they stopped "defending" themselves disregard Palestine, prioritize Israel, and don't understand the conflict.

Creating a Jewish ethnostate isn't ethical when it necessitates the extermination of a population, and an inclusive, democratic nation accepting all religions and ethnicities is feasible despite the vilification of Palestinians. People are unaware they're a multi-religious, diverse culture that tolerated centuries of brutal colonization and apartheid.

Western governments always consider resistance to their domination as a terrorist rebel revolt because only the West is permitted to use violence.

I don't know if I could handle humanity if there weren't protests against the barbarity. The dissent is proof humanness exists within civilization's abhorrent evil. Imagine if the majority self-censored or supported the horrific attacks - I don't want to.
