I already sympathize for the future students who will study this era in history courses. This year alone could be a PhD study.

As an American living in Australia during the Trump era and the pandemic, reading the daily US news is like reading the next page of a horror story, but truth is truly stranger than fiction. I can't make sense of this circus now, our kids will think we are telling tall tales.

How do we explain the mass Qanon cult followers and the people still believing Covid is a scam? Oh jeez, then there's the climate change disasters on top of that. Australia's devastating fires, then Covid introducing itself, then the west coast of the US up in smoke, hurricanes, flooding, and I have to stop there because I could go on.
