I agree with you. Our culture is built around materialism. We're conditioned to believe we can replace emotions with items, yet we still feel unfulfilled because materials will never feel better than self-satisfaction.

I'd like to read your thoughts. I believe capitalism has made us completely detached from who we are/what we really like and we're a product of this deranged system. I just get so tired of living in a world centered around production, consumption, and greed.
