I agree with you, but there's an expectation that Russia will cut Europe's gas supply, and countries are buying whatever's available on the international market. Pakistan faces a shortage because the supply to Asia is redirecting to Europe. Governments could regulate prices, but they protect profits and let the consumers suffer.
