How frustrating is it to watch our government blatantly lie to the public? I just had a conversation with someone who told me I should be freaking out about the tax we will have to pay towards the deficit. Every time I have this conversation, I ask people questions about the US' expenditures (like the CARES Act), persistent deficits, and revenue accrual from taxes. I think it helps to explain money creation when people can visualize it, but please share if you have any tactics.

It's just not right that our government isn't honest, and we're so used to being "punished" we prepare for it before we're sentenced. Ugh.
