Haha. To be fair, there isn't one long flight that I haven't wished my stiff airplane chair was a bed, but people owning private jets is bananas.
Capitalism's ownership mentality is our pathetic culture. We treat everything like it's a transaction. Men (not all ya, but for example's sake) who say shit like, "I paid for her dinner and she didn't sleep with me," have a transactional mentality; I paid for something and I should get something in return.
Our entire society revolves around buying our needs and we really think money can buy them. There are so many ways it impacts us, and I'm so tired of the claim a chemical imbalance in our brain causes depression. Really? I guess it can't possibly be the suffering, exploitation, devaluing of people, inequality, wars, etc.
Also, the banks own property. It's so absurd. If I own my home and decide to sell it, I sell it to a bank, and the buyer (unless they can afford to pay the whole damn thing straight up) leases it from the bank for 30 years or so. The banks pretty much own everything and we lease from them continuously. What a fricken scam.
