We have a problem remembering history and linking events together. The US lied to occupy Iraq and hasn't left, and no one thinks it's odd or questions it. The government developed torture centers and still uses them, but it's for a good cause...

I recently learned about Israel's covert actions in LATAM. It armed and assisted the region's militias when the US could not (Congress prohibited it) but under US guidance. Israel provided weapons, surveillance, planes, etc to Argentina's junta that killed and tortured Communist Jews. It's wild.

The secret ingredient is to accuse a government of crimes against humanity to intervene and commit said crimes. We still don't know what happened in the Syrian chemical attack, and nothing about it makes sense or adds up. Ugh. It's depressing.
