Haha. I don't enjoy a drink, but love shitting in the woods. Ha. I got Dengue in the Colombian rainforest, battled leeches in New South Wales, hiked a volcano in the dark to see the Atlantic/Caribbean and the Pacific at sunrise in Panama, slept in a hammock surrounded by tarantulas in the Amazon, roamed around the crocodile infested Kimberley in Northern Territory, and traveled throughout the Sierra Nevada.

The natural elements are harsh, but civilization is cruel. We exploit each other and depend on businesses, the economy, and a paycheck to buy our survival and freedom because we think the only alternative is living like Tarzan.

We could have created a modern civilization that wasn't founded on profits as the objective, but we're too trapped in manufactured ideologies to realize it.
