You have asked a question that I repeatedly ask myself. I wouldn't know the extent of what I know now, but I grew up middle class until my parents divorced.

Changing class status teaches you a few things. I questioned the shit narrative we're spoon fed and distrusted US intentions, but I doubt I would have looked further into US foreign policy.

However, there are many United-Statians who know the truth yet never left. Unfortunately, there are more that believe in the "saving the world" narrative.
