Ha. Ya, I work for a City Council in community equity and well-being. Our current system doesn't empower people and enforces reliance. However, governance structures in my community garden endow autonomy and collectivism because the gardeners equally share the space.

Our culture socializes society's behavior, and we react to our environment, but our mentality alters in different settings. We struggle to imagine a world where people aren't repressed, fighting for power because this is the only thing we know. For example, the behaviors between city and rural inhabitants differ significantly.

In our current system, community-led initiatives are a nightmare, but in a people-empowered, equal society the mindset changes.
