I don't know 100% what's going on, but I know the US provoked and disregarded Russia. If Russia is full of crap about NATO and security, why doesn't the US call its bluff by stating they'll back off? The fighting would stop for a bit, and the two idiot empires could have a long talk about who's more masculine. I think that's a good idea.
