Exactly my point. We collaborate because none of us are independent individuals and no country has everything it needs, but we can't imagine trade without money and profit.

I agree the USSR's socialist experiment wasn't introduced or managed efficiently. However, socialist countries must produce finance to trade with capitalist nations, so they must diversify their economies.

Ya, the humans in charge are powerful addicts. Ha. People who aren't addicted to power and money don't kill others for capital. We care about and do the best we can for each other, but we're forced to work within an exploitive system that enriches a few.

I don't necessarily believe profits are evil, but they are life's objective, and it's destroying us and the planet. Humans are curious and hardworking naturally. We innovate because we enjoy producing goods and services for ourselves and society; think about the praise we seek from others.

Bezos, Musk, Arnault, Gates, and the billionaire and multimillionaire class cut labor costs, exploited people, and abused the environment to generate their wealth. I wouldn't gain the notoriety or a monetary reward (or plunder my habitat) if I worked for Musk because private ownership hands him the rights to everything I created. I'd receive a paycheck and return to work the next day, dismissing the achievement as an expectation, not mine to appreciate. Yet, the job that I need to buy survival still wouldn't be secure. It's bananas.
