Class prevents the world from addressing climate change. The more money a person has, the less they care about climate change. Age, race, etc. may play a part, but classism is the underlying issue.

*I shouldn’t say the wealthier care less. That’s untrue. The wealthier tend to live in a healthier environment because they demand clean air, environmental regulations, etc., but they tend to consume more goods. They’re responsible for most of the world’s pollution, natural resource consumption, waste, etc.
