Capitalism's forever growth model assumed Earth produced infinite resources, and the wealthiest 10% of the global population blissfully ignored the fact that resources are finite. Overconsumption made us unhealthy, greedy, moreish, and mindless, but it didn't make us happy.

The world is depressing, and depressed people tend to lose their sex drive. Most of us can barely cope with survival stress or afford our existence. So, subjecting more people to society's generate profit and debt until they die objectives doesn't entice reproduction.

Plus, humanity isn't even dreaming of any sort of idea of utopia or better future. We have nothing to believe in, and nationalism and wars against the enemy of the week aren't cutting it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
