It won't stand, but I don't know what's coming next.

Capitalism has failed, but it's sustained through government intervention. The government intervenes by funding failing economic markets or businesses. A small minority receives socialism while the rest of us deal with failed-market capitalism and monopolies dictate price, wages, production, etc.

We're essentially living in a failed system, and the government knows, but the actions needed to restructure the markets would go against the minority.
