Because we haven't rejected resource snatching, profit seizing, oligarchic control of the global capitalist economy, or prioritized life over money and power. 🤑☹️

Humanity didn't engage in violence until we settled, claimed ownership over land, and grew and sold crops. We were always meant to be sharers instead of individualist hoarders, yet we're convinced that private ownership makes us happy and peaceful. Look at the state of the world - isn't everyone better off now? LOL.

Every war is about resources and power, and the gains aren't equally distributed. Yet, the working class does the dying and killing for the ruling class for reasons beyond my comprehension.

Free labor to produce profit for wealthy business owners ignited the US Civil War.

Europe's disputes over African colonies kicked off WWI, and Germany, Italy, and Japan's colonial aspirations to rival the colonizing countries' economies (among other reasons) produced WWII.

The wars in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iraq II, Ukraine, Libya, Syria, and Palestine, and countless coups in Latin America, Indonesia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and numerous nations facilitated US global economic hegemony.

Greed and power are our Kryptonite that threatens our existence, but our raping and pillaging will reinstate rationed communism if we don't blow ourselves up first. We tend to make a mess and escalate our messes into disasters until the most viable, sane, efficient, ethical, and sustainable solution forces us.

You know how it is!
