Beautiful. Since living abroad, I miss the nature in the US more than I miss almost anything else. Lately, I can't stop thinking about the jasmine smell of the Santa Ana winds and the salty ocean breeze. I wandered too far from home, and now I'm in Australia, but nothing compares to the familiar terrain of home.

My dad was a wanderer, and he'd wake me up before sunrise on school days to go fishing. He'd say, we're playing hookie and leave a note for my mom. We'd reappear in the mid-afternoon proud of ourselves as we showed off our catch.

Thanks for taking me on your voyage and reminding me of a great memory.

We need the social with the science to call it economics.
